Marketing Managers

PDRI has several people dedicated to 'getting our message out' to our clients and customers.The senior sales people focus on providing solutions for the insurance and institutional markets. Our marketing managers provide critical support to the franchisees at the local level, giving them the tools and training necessary to provide the best in customer relationship management. They all work in a consulting capacity acting as a communications bridge between the client or customer and the franchise owners. Listed are the names, responsibilities and biographies for this talented group of people.

Malcolm Stone Director of Marketing & Communications Malcolm Stone has more than 12 years experience in corporate marketing. He has spent the last four years working as a marketing consultant for small to mid-size companies in North Florida. He primarily assisted clients in marketing planning, developing websites, branding, internet marketing, and direct marketing projects. His most recent corporate position was Director of Corporate Marketing for The Suddath Companies - a Jacksonville-based transportation and logistics company. In this position, he was responsible for corporate and local marketing for Suddath's branch offices. Malcolm has beein with PDRI since August 2008. His responsibilities include coordinating both internal and external communications, monitoring marketing related projects/proposals for economic viability and provide periodic status reports as to their effectiveness, and champion our internet and B to C initiatives. He will also assist in managing the various marketing vendors. Malcolm graduated from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL with a degree in business. He currently resides in Neptune Beach, Florida.

Kathy Gillette Director of Local Marketing Kathy Gillette has over eighteen years experience in the sales and marketing division of PDRI. She is responsible for managing the local marketing program for PDRI. As a corporate trainer, she oversees the training and development  of local marketers and new franchise owners within the PDR network. She also plans, manages and oversees all aspects of the PDR National Convention and Annual Meeting. She provides technical, creative and marketing support to the entire network, and is certified through the IICRC. Kathy attended Florida Community College at Jacksonville, is active in fundraising for the Northeast Alzheimer's Association and resides in Northeast Florida.

Kendra Henson Marketing Operations Specialist Kendra Henson (Balch) is a Jacksonville, FL native. She began her career at PDRI in February 2006, with an employment background in the mental health field. In April of 2006, Kendra graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in U.S. History. Since she began with PDRI, Kendra has held many positions within the company, and was most recently promoted to Marketing Operations Specialist. Kendra works soley in support of the company's Strategic Marketing Plan (SMP) and is the primary resource for all SMP funded intiatives and activities. Her main responsibilities include: managing marketing vendors on a day-to-day basis, developing website material and content in support of marketing initiatives, assisting in the creation of new National marketing campaigns and collateral, assisting franchisees with their marketing needs, updating the company's internet, etc. Kendra's most recent accomplishment at PDRI is the development of the PDR Customer Experience Manual ("6"), which she played a key role in writing. Kendra is a newlywed and enjoys spending time with and traveling with her husband, working on their new home together, and cooking.

Kathy Marshall Assistant Vice President Business Development, West Kathy Marshall joined Paul Davis Restoration in 1999 as a regional marketing representative for the Pacific Region. In 2005, Kathy was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Business Development for the Western Region. Currently, Kathy holds IICRC Certifications in WRT, ASD, and has an internal CLM Certification (Commercial Loss Mitigation). Prior to joining PDRI, Kathy was a Sales Specialist for Clark Lift of California where she managed and sold heavy equipment and market parts, and planned maintenance programs to distribution centers, manufacturers and contractors. In addition to her regular responsibilities at PDRI, Kathy serves on the board of Directors for the Long Beach Women's Business Council as the VP of Communications. Kathy is also a mentor for Little Sisters, a program for young teen women who are at risk. Kathy is a native Californian, where she enjoys running, biking and swimming.

Laurie Cates Marketing Manager, East Laurie Cates joined PDRI in 2006 as a Regional Marketer. Prior to joining PDRI, Laurie was the Local Marketer for a PDR franchise in Maine. Laurie also has experience working at a daily newspaper in the advertising department before moving up the Sales & Promotions Manager for the circulation department. Laurie is IICRC certified, and works with the entire Eastern half of the U.S., focusing on local marketing training and mentoring for the PDR franchises. Laurie lives in Old Town, Maine with her husband and two children (son who is 23 and daughter who is 19). Laurie is active in her community and also enjoys spending time with her husband and family, including her nephew and niece. Her other hobbies include reading, hiking and camping. Laurie is also attending college at the University of Maine.

Christina Zabawski Marketing Manager, West Chris Zabawski joined the PDRI team in early 2009. She has over 20 years experience in sales and marketing, and over 10 of those years were spent as a Sales and Marketing Manager. She has a background in Agent and Adjuster marketing, including recruiting and training. Chris has a Doctorate from Cleveland State University in Applied Humanities. She is also IICRC certified in fire and water. Chris' main responsibilities include local marketing training and mentoring for all PDR franchises west of the Mississippi, and Florida.

Kali Freeland Accounts Administrator Kali Freeland is a native of Jacksonville, FL. Prior to joining PDRI, Kali worked in many hospitality roles for over seven years. Kali is currently a student at the University of North Florida in pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Psychology. Kali started her career with PDRI in 2007, taking on the role of Operations Coordinator. She has since changed positions and is now working with Tracy Bachtell as Accounts Administrator. She works closely with our National program contacts and oversees technical maintenance of these programs. Kali belongs to Big Brother Big Sisters of Northeast Florida and enjoys working in the community.

Patrick O'Connor National Training Specialist Patrick O'Connor has worked in the fields of insurance and insurance restoration for over fifteen years. In his current position with Paul Davis Restoration as National Training Specialist, he is responsible for tracking industry trends and implementing training programs to disseminate that information throughout the United States. In addition to writing and facilitating industry specific seminars, Patrick is responsible for the internal management and continuing education training of over 220 Paul Davis locations. With his experience in insurance inspection, CAT adjusting, historic and insurance restoration, and record of leadership in the United States Marine Corps, he is uniquely qualified as a seminar facilitator and speaker. Patrick resides in Savannah, Georgia.
